Screening is not a diagnosis. It helps to detect possible risks in time and determine whether additional examination or medical consultation is needed.
The program covers digital mammography, double reading, and BI-RADS–based assessment of findings.
The screening examination is performed using the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test, conducted at 5-year intervals in the event of a negative result.
The program includes cardiovascular and diabetes risk assessment, core measurements, and referral for further tests when needed.

The authorized person receives a notification by phone call, message, electronically, or through a healthcare professional, and can also learn about the program from other sources via various public awareness platforms.
The visit date and location are set, either independently or with support from the healthcare facility.
The relevant questionnaire is completed, followed by the necessary measurements, laboratory tests, or imaging studies.
Results are entered into the information system.
The person receives their results and any necessary explanation.
If the examination results indicate a high risk, additional testing or a specialist consultation is arranged.
The program monitors participation, results, and implementation of next steps.

Yes. The purpose of screening tests is to detect diseases or their risk factors at the earliest possible stage, before any symptoms appear. Early detection makes it possible to begin appropriate monitoring or treatment in a timely manner and helps prevent the disease from progressing.

The screening programs included in the UHI package are designed for the early detection of various diseases and health conditions.
