On February 10, the Repatriation and Integration Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, hosted an informative meeting bringing together a group of repatriates from France, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, Canada, and Syria.
During the meeting, Eduard Vardanyan, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs of the “Republican Ambulance Service” CJSC, along with representatives of the Universal Health Insurance Fund, Tigran Hovhannisyan and Narek Khachatryan, presented the universal health insurance system, its objectives, and the specifics of its implementation.
The list of services and medications covered free of charge or with partial payment included in the insurance scheme, the procedures for accessing them, as well as the updated conditions for receiving emergency medical assistance were also introduced.
At the end of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to address their questions to the guests.
