On July 24, the Universal Health Insurance Fund held a working meeting with representatives of polyclinics operating under the Yerevan Municipality Health Department. The meeting was led by Samvel Kharazyan, Performing the Duties of the Acting Director General of the Universal Health Insurance Fund.
During the meeting, participants discussed reimbursement limits, regulations governing service prices, healthcare provider remuneration mechanisms, as well as issues related to the application of the International Classification of Diseases.
A newly developed digital platform designed by the Fund to enhance transparency and promote self-monitoring among healthcare providers was presented. Through the platform, each medical organization will have access to its own secure account, enabling it to view information related exclusively to its own activities, including identified violations, deviations, and other relevant findings. The new system will allow healthcare providers to address identified issues in a timely manner, analyze them, and improve service delivery processes.
The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere. Representatives of the polyclinics raised questions encountered in their day-to-day operations and shared proposals for improvement. Detailed clarifications and practical solutions to the issues raised were provided.
A similar meeting will also be held this week with representatives of regional healthcare organizations.
