Digital Health Transformation Prospects at the Heart of the ArmDigiHealth 2026 Conference

On September 29, the ArmDigiHealth 2026 conference took place at the Ibis Yerevan Center Hotel, bringing together representatives of public institutions in the healthcare sector, the professional community, and innovative companies to discuss the development of digital health, the application of new technologies, and the prospects for the transformation of Armenia’s healthcare system.

Hayk Babayan, Acting Director General of the Universal Health Insurance Fund, delivered a speech at the conference. He presented the key results and statistical data from the first eight months of the universal health insurance system’s operation in Armenia, addressing the expansion of insurance coverage, the demographic analysis of beneficiaries using the system, indicators on the use of healthcare services and reimbursement for medicines, as well as the overall operation of the system.

ArmDigiHealth 2026 created an important platform for exchanging experience and ideas related to the digital transformation of healthcare, discussing innovative approaches, and shaping directions for the sector’s further development, contributing to the establishment of a more modern, data-driven, and efficient healthcare system.
