From 13 to 15 July 2026 (inclusive), the Universal Health Insurance Fund conducted its annual planned inspections in the Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions of the Republic of Armenia, pursuant to Decision No. 03-L of the Fund’s Temporary Board, dated 17 June 2026.
During the visits, inspections were carried out at healthcare providers contracted with the Fund to assess their compliance with the minimum requirements, including quality requirements, established by Government of the Republic of Armenia Decision No. 1985-N of 25 December 2025.
The inspections aimed to evaluate compliance with the minimum requirements set forth in the contracts, as well as to discuss, on site, the issues and challenges encountered by healthcare providers in the course of their operations and the proper implementation of reimbursement processes.
During the meetings, representatives of the healthcare providers had the opportunity to raise issues of concern, share their observations, and submit suggestions for further improvement.
These inspections serve not only a supervisory function but also a consultative one, contributing to the establishment of consistent practices and strengthening effective cooperation with healthcare providers.
