The Fund conducted annual planned inspections and training sessions in the regions of Armenia
The commission headed by Tigran Hovhannisyan, Head of the Contracts, Methodology and Quality Management Department of the Universal Health Insurance Fund, conducted annual planned inspections and training sessions in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Armavir and Gegharkunik regions from August 10 through September 16.
The purpose of the inspections was to assess the compliance of healthcare organizations contracted with the Fund with the minimum requirements stipulated by the contract, the proper implementation of reimbursement processes, as well as to discuss on-site the challenges arising in the course of the healthcare organizations’ activities.
During the inspections, representatives of the Fund reviewed the organization of services provided within the insurance system at healthcare facilities and pharmacies, discussed existing practical issues, and provided the necessary clarifications regarding the applicable procedures.
Alongside the inspections, training sessions were also organized for representatives of contracted healthcare organizations. The main topics of the training sessions were the reimbursement procedures and limitations within the universal health insurance system, with the aim of promoting the consistent and proper application of the established procedures.
Such meetings provide an opportunity not only to assess compliance with the established requirements, but also to identify issues, note opportunities for improvement, and contribute to their timely resolution.
The Fund will continue regular inspections, training sessions, and discussions with contracted healthcare organizations to ensure the continuous improvement of processes within the insurance system and the proper organization of services provided to beneficiaries.
