On March 3, Samvel Kharazyan, Acting Director of the Universal Health Insurance Foundation, and Tigran Hovhannisyan, Head of the Department of Contracts, Methodology and Quality Management, conducted a site visit to the hospital and polyclinic of Yerevan Medical Association No. 2, which has recently joined the list of healthcare institutions cooperating with the Foundation.
The purpose of the visit was to assess on-site the organization of work processes, service load, and the efficiency of service delivery within the insurance package. In particular, discussions focused on the operation of the appointment system, the average duration of visits, as well as issues related to medical staff remuneration.
Mr. Kharazyan and Mr. Hovhannisyan toured various departments together with the management of the medical institution, familiarized themselves with the organization of services, spoke with medical staff, and answered questions. They also discussed the introduction of potential new solutions aimed at improving system efficiency and enhancing the quality of services.
Such site visits will be conducted on a regular basis to deepen cooperation with healthcare institutions and ensure the continuous improvement of the system.
