Announcement for Directors of Organizations with Social Package Beneficiaries

According to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 1961-N of December 27, 2012, a social package beneficiary who pays the insurance contribution has the right to submit an application to the unit responsible for transferring social package funds in order to transfer the social package amount available to them (in the amount of AMD 6,000 per month) to the Universal Health Insurance Fund in accordance with the established procedure.

Social package beneficiaries submit the application once for the following 12 months.

At the same time, the employer is obliged to inform the banks of the Republic of Armenia that the respective social package beneficiaries direct their funds toward the payment of insurance contributions for universal health insurance and that no additional certificates should be required to confirm expenditures of the social package for other purposes.

Employers, for those social package beneficiaries who have submitted the application, and beneficiaries themselves in cases where no application has been submitted, shall make the partial payment of the universal health insurance contribution to account 900018010471, mandatorily indicating the organization’s (employer’s) Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), as well as the Public Services Number (PSN) of the individuals for whom the payment is being made.

When making the payment, the purpose field must state: “Universal Health Insurance Contribution.”
