On February 25, a memorandum of cooperation was signed at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia between the Universal Health Insurance Foundation and the insurance companies Armenia Insurance, REGO Insurance, and Nairi Insurance. Earlier, INGO Armenia, EFES, LIGA Insurance, and SIL Insurance had also joined the initiative.
The purpose of the memorandum is to support the development of the Universal Health Insurance system by promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as ensuring the effective and sustainable operation of the system.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties plan to cooperate through the exchange of experience and information, organization of professional discussions, and implementation of joint initiatives aimed at improving beneficiary service processes and increasing the accessibility of services.
The signing of the memorandum represents an important step in the development of the healthcare system, contributing to the expansion of cooperation within the insurance market, the establishment of unified sectoral approaches, and the strengthening of citizens’ health protection.
