Amendment on the Expansion of Beneficiary Groups Included in the UHI System from 2027

According to the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Universal Health Insurance, starting from January 1, 2027, the scope of groups subject to insurance coverage is planned to be expanded.

Thus, the UHI system will also include:

employees earning up to AMD 200,000,
sole proprietors and notaries with a gross annual income of up to AMD 2.4 million,
affiliated persons of insurance contribution payers,
individuals performing work under civil law contracts,
individuals providing passenger transportation services by taxi vehicles (drivers).
